PINK is so popular which explains why it’s  one of my best selling flower greeting cards! The meaning of PINK is often connected to sweetness, feminity, romance, innocence and playfulness. This explains why so many companies are branding themselves with this colour like: Victoria’s Secret, Baskin Robbins, Barbie, Cosmopolitan, and even Breast Cancer.

PINK is the colour of LOVE and COMPASSION and makes us feel accepted. It’s friendly and nurtures us, bringing joy and warmth into our lives.

“In the Pink” means in good health.

On a side note: Jaipur, India is known as the Pink City. I’ve been there and it’s breathtakingly beautiful. I’d love to go back. It was a magical place.

In North America and Europe – femininity, indicates the birth of a daughter, childhood and sweetness.

  • In Switzerland – it is used in jail cells for it’s calming effects.
  • In the Middle East – it does not hold any distinct meaning.
  • In Latin America – Pink is associated with architecture and is often used as a colour for buildings.
  • In Korea – it is associated with trust.
