We care about the environment, so all of our cards and prints are printed locally on FSC paper at ART INK in Victoria, Canada. We also up-cycle imperfect cards, too!

ABOUT The Owner: Pamela Gutrath
Greetings from Vancouver Island!
My passion for colour started early when I established, ‘The Rainbow Club’ in elementary school. Our mission was simple: to collect all things rainbow and then trade our treasures. Over time, I developed an appreciation for the meaning of colour, the energy of flowers, and the thoughtful gesture of gifting a card, especially in today’s digital world.
I discovered my love for photography while backpacking in Nepal and India when I was 18 years old. I graduated from Photojournalism in 1998 and have freelanced for newspapers, magazines, and private clients including weddings and corporate portraits.
I started Life Blooms Cards & Prints in 2014 after collaborating with Andrea Posno Walker, an award-winning florist from Poppies Floral Art. Andrea wanted a line of custom flat enclosure cards to mirror the bouquets she arranged based on chakra colours. I photographed and designed the cards called ‘Spirit Lifters.’
My experience inspired me to make a unique line of greeting cards specifically designed for florists to go with monochromatic bouquets. To date, I’ve sold over 60,000 cards to clients across Canada. I also enjoy creating custom cards and prints for businesses and individuals.
Today I live in Victoria, Canada, known as ‘the garden city.’ I continue to collect cards and focus my lens on capturing flowers and the natural beauty of the west coast.
